Notice is hereby given that Sudbrooke Parish Council is formally consulting on the amendments to the Sudbrooke Neighbourhood Plan and its associated documents. 7th October – 17th November 2024

The Neighbourhood Plan has been subject to a review over the past few months so that it is up to date with the recently adopted review of the Central Lincolnshire Local Plan. The Local Plan has altered policies around housing development and the environment, so the review of the Neighbourhood Plan is only focussing on updating on these policies.

Once completed, the Neighbourhood Plan review will replace the existing Neighbourhood Plan for Sudbrooke and will be used to help determine future planning applications in the area by the Parish Council and West Lindsey District Council (WLDC). It is likely that another referendum will need to be held with the community next year.

It is really important that we receive your comments on these draft amendments so that the Parish Council can make sure it accurately reflects the communities’ views.

The consultation period starts on the 7th October 2024 and closes on the 17th November 2024.

Residents are welcome to come and view the documents in person at the following event in the Sudbrooke Village Hall (with free tea, coffee and biscuits) on:

  • Wednesday 16th October 2024 at 7.00pm

All comments are welcome and you can send them to: sudbrookeparishcouncil@gmail.com (please title any comments as ‘Neighbourhood Planning’).
